Hi Jenny yes we hope we can obviously been glass it will need to be cleaned regularly as any dirt, smudge or left overs will be clearly seen to tarnish the flawless look, also we find the effective method a newspaper applied with alcohol, rub this all over the glass table surface, this should dry it’s self been alcohol, on top of that you could use a dry cloth and rub out any extra hard to remove smudges, let us know how you get on.

But also in the flesh it’s good to view and see the item for yourself, second hand shops, charity shops recently we visited one in yorkshire that had an amazing variety of old furniture aimed a the students of the local university, of course there was the odd Ikea sideboard that had seen better days, badly painted chests of drawers, display canbinets with broken glass and no light fittings, but in amongst you’d find a gold nugget (if your in the market for the item in question) we found a glorious mahogany dining table that looked 100 years old, it had great patternation and a solid top, it was for sale for £120 a bargain and we very nearly purchased but for looking underneath at the broken leg that had been replaced by a pine leg. Not great so we gave a miss.
