How to clean mahogany
If you have cracks or scratches a great way of covering them is to wax the mahogany, there are alot of alternatives but Bees wax is the favoured, Rub it throughout the mahogany and then leaving no area of the table uncovered
•    Regularity: Every 4- 6 months
Dust your table regularly
If you need to clean your dining room table, use boiled water about a quarter of a pint, 4 table spoon of lemon oil specialised for the task and 1 table spoon of turpentine try not to put more in, You can then using the softest cloth you can find clean the table
•    Regularity: once a week
Polish your mahogany
Polish one: half a small cup of lemon oil with 1 cup of olive oil.
If you want to add a fragrance add 1 tables spoon of lemon oil, it helps freshen the smell.
Make sure you use a cloth dampened with the lemon oil and olive, don’t over exert on the elbow on first application, go over the table once covering all areas, then go over again to give a fine shine polish.
